My first thought was this book didn’t have the second book syndrome like many other trilogies and series usually have. Review for Book 2 – *Might contain mild spoilers* I finished it in one sitting and really enjoyed it. I adored Susannah and Belly’s mother’s friendship.
He seemed perfectly brotherly and sarcastic. I wish there was more on Belly’s brother though. On the contrary, Conrad was a dark handsome brooding guy.
Belly, the main character was really a fun person to follow as the two guys she had known all her life, actually noticed her as a girl and not a part of themselves for the first time. It dealt with issues like family, friendship, crushes, love, heartbreak, and was so much more than a typical boy-meets-girl contemporary.īut the characters definitely secured a place in my heart. This book was really fast paced and short. I’d heard many people talk about this book everywhere and was really excited to read it because I read a trilogy she co-wrote with Siobhan Vivian and really enjoyed it. Belly will have to confront her feelings for Jeremiah and Conrad and face a truth she has possibly always known: she will have to break one of their hearts. So when Belly and Jeremiah decide to make things forever, Conrad realizes that it’s now or never–tell Belly he loves her, or lose her for good.
